Eurythmy - the expression of speech and music through movement - is an art form most closely associated with the cosmos. Today we will learn to embody the essences of the planets in movement and gesture, so as to gain a deeper felt sense of them and how they move in us. We will also work with the zodiac’s fixed cross from the perspective of the soul’s capacities for thinking, feeling and willing. No previous experience of Eurythmy required.

Born in the Netherlands, Elien studied eurythmy with Else Klink in Stuttgart. After performing in Europe she moved to NZ in 2002 to work in Te Ra Waldorf School as eurythmy teacher and therapist. Currently she is teaching in Eurythmy Aotearoa.
